Photographer for Mettā Muse
Leveraging my considerable experience at the grassroots level, I received an invitation from Mettā Muse to serve as a photographer. Embarking on journeys to far-flung villages and diverse cities throughout India, I endeavoured to encapsulate the essence of artisans' lives and the intricate art they produce, presenting it on Mettā Muse's worldwide platform. My directive was clear: to capture not only the final results but also the artistry, processes, and, most importantly, the hands and fingers of these skilled craftspeople.
The accompanying images span various states in India, documenting numerous fading art forms that resilient artisans in the grassroots are diligently preserving—safeguarding their craftsmanship for the prosperity of future generations.
